VeggieTales: Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Noah's Umbrella

Definitely not one of their best
Far too much of this movie is Cuke (Larry) running around trying to save the day but is constantly foiled by... GASP! People laughing at him when he does silly things. He literally ruins things that could have stopped the antagonists because people laugh at him for doing it, then he whines and the bad guys succeed. This happens over, and over, and OVER.

The point of the episode, it seems, is that we shouldn't be scared to do what's right (like pray in public, for instance) just because others might judge and/or laugh at us. This is a very good thing to teach. However, VT has a tendency to often miss the mark, having a good point but showing a bad example of it. Sometimes they are close, sometimes they'll graze it, a few times they're right on, but, overall, they tend use an example that has little to nothing to do with it. This episode is one of those. The silly song is catchy, but the rest of the episode isn't really great to watch. My daughter does like it a lot, and as...

Cute cute cute
Dave and Larry always deliver. These tales are so underrated! Come on folks!
Veggie tales are entertaining and fun for the kiddos, but also have a great message!

Veggie tales
My grandson loved it. He watched it over and over. I would recommend this to any one for a child.
